SciFi Adventure Children's Book Illustrator Needed
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am currently in search of a talented illustrator who can bring the characters of my children's adventure book to life, particularly with a focus on representing black children. Here's a little more about what is expected:
- Age Consideration: The age range of characters in the book lies between 7-12 years old. The illustrations must suitably reflect this demographic.
- Theme: The book revolves around the theme of Science Fiction/Adventure. Therefore, I need someone who can creatively depict scenes full of excitement, exploration, and wonder. Also someone who can create alien/animal-like characters based on a description.
- Artistic Style: That being said, my preference leans towards a Cartoon-style of illustrations rather than something overly realistic or abstract. I'm open to many different art styles.
The ideal freelancer for this project should have previous experience in illustrating children's books, especially in a cartoon-style. A good understanding of character design, color theory, and visual storytelling is fundamentally essential.
