Reviving Stroke-Affected Body Artwork
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am seeking a gifted and empathetic artist capable of creating a nude sketched portrait (or recreation) of my body, post-stroke. This is an immensely personal project, and serves as a reflection on my individual journey and recovery.
Key aspects of the project, include:
- Emphasis on "Restoration": The prime objective is to visually correct the impacts of the stroke on my body. I desire to see the image of my form, symmetrically restored and bearing a proper posture, as if I'd regained complete control.
- Finely-tuned artistic sensibility: This project is ambitious in its intent and deeply personal. Thus, the artist must showcase immense respect, sensitivity, and artistic depth.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Demonstrated ability to create tasteful and emotionally charged nude portraits/recreations.
- Proficiency in portraying physical characteristics: symmetry, posture, muscle tone.
- Prior experience in undertaking projects dealing with body positivity and disability representation is a plus.
