Realistic Animal Illustrations for Product Design
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
We are looking for a talented freelance illustrator who can create 10-20 original illustrations of animals in our branded style. These illustrations will be used on promotional items (such as t-shirts, tote bags and notecards) to enhance our brand identity and attract donors and supporters of our organization.
The chosen candidate will need to showcase their ability to depict a variety of animals in a simplified, but realistic manner while being limited to our branded color palette. Our illustration style is flat, vector-based with high contrast and use of directional light to create dimension. The animal illustrations should be realistic (not cartoony), with a minimal level of detail (not every hair needs to be depicted) while showing the unique character of its subject. The ideal candidate can create dynamic compositions to show animals in action in naturalistic poses. They should have depth and feel as true to life as possible using flat vector shapes, without using textures or gradients.
The ideal candidate should have experience in digital illustration and be proficient in Adobe Illustrator or similar software. Creativity, reliability, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential skills for this project.
Responsibilities:
• Create 10-20 vector-based animal illustrations in our branded colors and style
• Ensure that the illustrations are visually appealing and align with our brand identity
• Collaborate with the brand and visuals team to understand the requirements and objectives for each illustration
• Provide revisions and modifications as needed to meet the project requirements
• Deliver working files that are easily modified
This is a medium-sized project that is expected to be completed within 1 to 3 months. We are seeking an intermediate-level illustrator with experience in creating animal illustrations.
