Race Car Art
Budget: $50 – $500 USD
We're in search of race car art. We are looking for a variety of artistic styles (see examples), anything from line drawing, palette knife, oil, watercolour, poster art, technical drawings, etc., the cyclist and boat are included to just show other styles, we're open to just about any style.
We'd like each piece to have a theme, like:
-Four Famous European race cars from Italy, Germany, England, France (I've created two below, with the flag backgrounds).
-The evolution of Ferrari F1 cars over the past 50 years
-Great Trans-Am muscle cars from the '60's.
-Porsche's winningest LeMans cars.
-The Capri vs 3.0 Touring Car rivalry.
In other words not just 'here's a Mustang'.
The art can be a number of separate pieces as with the Porsche and Jag, or all in one piece as with the 5 F1 cars in side view. Generally three or four images works best as we can then offer three wall pieces or a set of four mugs.
-You need a good understanding of the history of motorsports to be able to create interesting themes.
-We need a new piece each week and will use them on wall art, clothing, what have you.
-We are looking for good quality. Price for each to be negotiated.
-It must be your own art (not reworked photos or others art, obviously).
-You can use AI as long as it doesn't look obviously AI (especially not that hyper-realistic AI Look).
-The art much be accurate to the car, so no 7 spoke Fuchs wheels like in the AI generated line drawing of the 911 below.
-We pay by the piece and only buy if we think it's right for us.
-We can work with you on what a good theme might be and can provide feedback on pieces.
-We will vary the style of art from week to week so that it always fresh.
-The cars and racing series must be real historical or present series, no fantasy stuff.
The main thing is we want cool, high quality race car art.
We don't want people going to a lot of effort to create something that we don't think works for us, so we suggest the following:
1. Show us the art you've done and your price range.
2. We'll see if we think the style, quality, price works for us.
3. If it does we'll agree on a theme, style, price, and number of revisions.
If you prefer you can submit anything you want and we'll let you know if it works for us. You can also submit art for a royalty arrangement, however this is a new line for us and we don't expect sales volume to be high at first, so that might not pay as well. Just fyi I've been both a licensor and licensee, so I always aim to be fair to both parties.
