We are looking for a dynamic and innovative candidate for the role of Product Designer -
Educational Toys/ STEAM preferably having a previous work experience as a Product Illustrator or
Product Visual Designer for an edtech company or knowledge about STEAM products in India.
A candidate who is specialised in visual designing for assorted science models and bringing it to life
to help children understand the simple science concepts and enthrall their young minds.
Roles and Responsibilities:
● Collaborate with the Product Development Team to create conceptualised blueprints for the
models/Educational Toys/ STEAM products and components discussed.
● Creating refined Isometric illustrations for the approved blueprint models and components
with good understanding of colour combinations and shades, shapes, typography fonts and
texture mapping.
● Collaborate with the Product Development Team to present the created isometric
illustrations for brainstorming and approval in a timely manner.
● Modifying and improvising the illustrations of the existing STEAM Models/Activities.
● Designing visual appealing and functional STEAM Instructional Manuals and Worksheets for
children.
Eligibility Criteria:
● Preferred Educational Qualification:Any Bachelor's or Master’s Degree, Preferably Product
design, engineering, 3D designing, spatial designing and architecture or any other related
field.
● Preferred Work Experience: 6 months of experience as a Product Designer or Product
Developer from Edtech / Educational Toys/ STEAM or Freshers can apply too.
Desired Skills:
● Knowledge about STEAM education and STEAM products market.
● Advanced proficiency in digital drawing skills.
● Knowledge in using image editing and designing softwares such as Coral draw, Adobe
Creative Suite's InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
● Previous experience in designing innovative hands-on science models for children in the
Educational/Educational Toys/ STEAM field.
● Exceptional ability to collaborate on visual design projects and integrate feedback.
● Handle multiple projects while effectively managing timelines and expectations
● Excellent eye for aesthetic design and customer appeal.
● Strong designing prototyping skills with visual and spatial awareness.
