Poker painting -- 2
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I'll presume that whoever reads this is aware of a few different fairly famous paintings of dogs playing poker?
In the spirit of those (possibly reproducing or at least paying homage to certain elements of the originals), I'm looking for someone to (essentially) recreate that scene, but instead of dogs, using a specific set of iconic Hollywood characters (not in any particular order):
• Darth Vader
• Batman
• Yosemite Sam
• The Pink Panther
• Mr. Spock
• Hobbes (of the comic strip 'Calvin and Hobbes')
• Stan Lee (of Marvel comics/studios)
• Elvis Presley
• Marilyn Monroe
• Stitch (of the Disney movie 'Lilo and Stitch' - and being a relatively small character compared the others, he wouldn't necessarily have to be seated at the table, but located somewhere in the room)
• Marlon Brando as The Godfather
I'm envisioning one of two ways, and extremely open to artist input)...
A) Caricatures, basically the entire scene in that style
Or,
B) As close to "real life" as possible, with the "human" characters as close to portrait as possible, and the comic strip/cartoon characters also looking just as they would have originally, perhaps slightly more "3D" than original.
I'm looking for this to be a fairly sizeable piece, between 2' X 4' and 3' X 5'-6" in size.
