Picture book illustration

I'm looking for an experienced illustrator to bring my vision to life. I have a collection of 12folktales and stories and would like to create a picture book that is geared toward 9-12 year olds. The content of the book needs more than 100 illustrations to fully capture the various settings, characters, and moods of the stories. My hope is that through the creative illustrations the audience will be able to explore a world of imagination and discovery.
The perfect illustrator for this project should have experience working with children's books, a knowledge of modern design trends, an eye for detail, and a passion for creating captivating images. I'm also looking for an illustrator who understands my target audience and will be able to create illustrations that will draw them into the stories.
