12 Panel - One Page A4 - Manga Style Comic Illustration
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
Format & Drawing Style: I need a single A4 sized comic book page with 12 square panels. No text is needed, just the colour drawing in a manga style.
Main Characters: A boy wearing a white shirt.
Panel 1: A boy walking through a quiet street in Tokyo is caught in the middle of a storm.
Panel 2: Water rises and he’s caught in a swell, and grabs hold of a piece of drift wood to stay above the waves.
Panel 3: When the storm passes he looks around and realises he’s lost. Nothing looks familiar, and there is no one in sight. He is alone.
Panel 4: He nervously runs down streets, but can’t find his way home.
Panel 5: The boy thinks he should find higher ground and sees a three story parking lot.
Panel 6: When he reaches the top he looks out over the edge squinting to see find out where he is. Shielding his eyes from the sun, a bird startles him and he stumbles backwards, slipping off the roof of the car park.
Panel 7: The boy falls three stories, but his fall is broken as he plunges into a flooded subway station. The impact knocking him out briefly, but when he opens his eyes he’s been plugged into a strange aquatic world. Tiny colourful fish swim past him.
Panel 8: He can’t swim so he starts to panic and flail his arms, desperately trying to swim back to the entrance.
Panel 9: The more he propels himself upward the water pulls him back. Reaching for the light.
Panel 10: Then all of a sudden his reality flips and everything turns upside down.
Panel 11: Water churning around him. Sunlight appears in the distance and he pushes himself towards it holding his breath. Bubbles racing around him, obscuring his vision.
Panel 12: When he reaches the light and emerges he is in another world. A strange and forgotten place. The city is gone, replaces with ancient buildings and colourful vibrant plant life.
