Painting of old house
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I recently purchased my deceased grandparent's house from their estate to live in. In that house, one of the things I found was a painting of the old house my grandma grew up in. I liked this painting so much, I wondered if I could hire someone to make a painting of the same size/style of the house my grandpa grew up in, so I could hang them side by side. I briefly considered trying to track down the artist who did the original, but from what I know she would be in her 80s, so I decided not to bother her or any of her next of kin trying to track her down.
I have attached to this 4 pictures of the painting (one in frame, two with a tape measure beside it for size reference, and the best plain picture I could get out of frame). I also attached the three pictures of my grandpa's old house that I have, unfortunately one of them is a low fidelity picture from the 70s, the others are more recent and higher fidelity but were taken when it was being demolished. I understand some artistic license will be needed for the purpose of clearing things off the porch, and matching things like sunlight time of year vegetation.
The artist would not be responsible for matching the frame (unless they think they can do so), but I would want this on heavy paper (like the original) so that I could put them both in similar frames.
