KDP Manuscript Proofread & Illustrated
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a completed manuscript that I will be publishing on Kindle Direct Publishing and now need two things done before upload:
• A careful proofread for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and basic consistency.
• Custom illustrations inserted at the beginning of every chapter.
The book is already fully written and laid out in Word. Your proofreading should be delivered with Track Changes so I can review every edit. For the artwork, I’m open to style suggestions as long as each illustration reflects the mood of its chapter and is supplied in a resolution and aspect ratio that KDP accepts (minimum 300 dpi, RGB). Once the images are approved, I’d like them placed in the file exactly where each chapter starts, with the final manuscript returned as a single, press-ready document—either Word or an exported EPUB/PDF.
Acceptance criteria
– Clean manuscript showing only essential corrections
– One unique illustration per chapter, KDP-compliant
– Final file formatted and ready for upload without further tweaks
If you have experience combining proofreading with illustration work for KDP titles, I’d love to see samples of both your edited text and art.
