Journal-ready Scientific Illustration Design

I am seeking a scientific illustration representing a wiring sequence. I have an animation of this wiring sequence and a listing of the individual steps. I'm looking for a creative way to represent this on a single sequence diagram or infographic style to represent the steps involved. This single illustration will be used in a marketing brochure. I have attached the steps animation.
