Illustrator Needed for Seinen Action-Fantasy Manga
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
To whom it is about to concern,
I am looking for an illustrator to work with me on an action-fantasy manga. Please do keep in mind that while fairly confident in my ability to pull my own weight on the actual writing side of this work, I am admittedly more than hopeless with basically anything to do with illustration and character design and so would be leaning pretty heavily on you for almost everything relating to the art of this manga. This is also the first time I try do anything like this. Here's what I'm hoping you'd be able to do in a partnership between the two of us:
- Characters designed to set specifications
- Illustrations for a full first volume (and hopefully more!!) of this manga series
- Storyboard collaboration with me
- Consult on what the pages would look like
- Draw in a detailed seinen art style
- Honesty and clarity - Please do not lie to me and be open about all details relating to this project and expect the same from me
- The creation of concept art with me
If these are things which you think you'd be able to do, then please do reach out. This manga would have more of an emphasis on demonic creatures, magic and atmosphere and I hope that we can make something really beautiful together. Should you choose to apply, then please send over a portfolio of your work along with any experience you have, a quote, any questions you have for me, and any other details you think I should know about you.
Regardless of what your price range is, reach out if you are interested. I am willing to cover any reasonable amount you ask for if your art stands up to your cost. If you do what you need to, then regardless of what happens to this project, the money will be yours.
