Illustrations for children's books

Drawing for stories, poems, and books created for children's entertainment and knowledge is an extremely interesting task for an artist and on the one hand a challenge. This is because paintings for children have often been created in the same style of painting in different eras. In my experience, children do not like absurd paintings as well as natural style paintings. Rhythm and color, simplicity as well as loveliness should be in the drawings of books created for children.

I present here as an example one of my illustrated books from a series of children's books published in Sinhala language
in Sri Lanka in 2019.
