Illustrations for a children's book

As the author of a children's book, I'm looking for an experienced illustrator to help bring it to life. My vision features cartoon style illustrations with more than 20 separate pieces of art, each depicting a specific scene and character from the story.

I am looking to write a children's book on Tales of Baby Krishna (a Hindu God) and want the character to look something like this: (especially Sample 1 in the drive)
