Illustration project: "illustrations between fairy tales and songs"
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
The project consists of creating some illustrations to be associated with the lyrics of some famous Italian songs.
The illustrations must be coloured, created in square format and must have a definition suitable for large format printing (2 m x 2 m).
There may be more than one illustrations (perhaps 10-15) but this project refers to the creation of a single illustration. The illustrations that I provide in the attachment have nothing to do with this project but serve as an example to understand the graphic style that could be used by the illustrator. The illustrator may propose a different graphic style but I will be the one to evaluate whether that style is suitable for my project.
As a first illustration I need an illustration with the protagonist of the Snow White fairy tale to pair with the following text:
"And with a clean face you walk down the street eating an apple with your school books, you like studying. You don't have to be ashamed of it"
In the illustration, Snow White must appear walking down a street or path, eating an apple, with school books under her arm, tied with a strap. The setting must be inspired by the Snow White fairy tale.
It is important that the illustrator reads and knows fairy tales in order to create the right mix between the fairy tale and the lyrics of the song that will be associated with it.
The illustrator may decide to add characters from the fairy tale in addition to those indicated in the project, in order to make the fairy tale more recognizable and/or the fragment of the song lyrics and the fairy tale more in tune.
In the example of Snow White, for example, you could put the 7 dwarfs who observe her with admiration (this is only a hypothesis and the illustrator will decide how to represent the connection between the fairy tale and the song).
Before providing the complete drawing, the illustrator will have to provide some sketches in order to demonstrate their skills and to allow me to evaluate whether the sketch can be completed or whether changes are necessary before arriving at the final illustration.
All graphics will become my property and I will be able to use them for any purpose.
