Illustrating a Children’s Book (6-8 Years Old)

Seeking a passionate and highly skilled illustrator for a magical story set in an unconventional elementary school. Written by an award-winning author, this enchanting tale appeals to both children and parents.
We are looking for an illustrator who:
• Is a talented visual artist aspiring to establish their name in the industry.
• Specializes in children's book illustration, as evidenced by their portfolio.
• Maintains a Freelancer project completion rate of 95% or higher.
• Can provide an art sample based on a given subject to ensure consistency with their portfolio.
• Can adhere to the Illustration Style guidelines provided at the following link: https://empoweredon.com/resources/illustration-style Sample illustrations are attached.
If you have a third-party portfolio, kindly include the link in your proposal.
Payments:
The total payment for the project is $1,750 USD, with an additional $250 bonus for timely project completion.
Payments will be divided into three installments based on predetermined milestones.
Timeline:
The project has a maximum timeline of 2 ½ months (75 days), which begins immediately after project award.
Scope of Work:
• 19 Spread Illustrations
• 2 Spot Illustrations
• 1 Full Page Illustration
• Cover Art
Out of the 19 illustrations, 17 involve a maximum of 3 characters. Additionally, 5 illustrations feature multiple characters. The Cover Art includes 3 characters.

Ownership:
The illustrations must be original and exclusive, not used previously or intended for future use. Copyright and commercial rights are requested, and a copyright transfer agreement will be signed. Source files are required for the final submission.
