Illustrate a book in English

My daughter has written several pieces when applying to college - and now I want to make a book out of it. I work with a designer to put everything together and I am looking for an artist to illustrate the stories and plays. As a trial piece I am offering one short story to illustrate. First and last blank pages are to be ignored, and one should use the empty space on the pages with text to incorporate illustrations. Realistic drawings with moderate use of color come to mind but I am open to suggestions.
