Illustrate and Build Storyboards for an Animated Promotional Video

I'm working on a promotional video for a new piece of technology and wanted to build out graphic elements to show off some of its features, where it would fit in with other technologies, and other information. The technology itself is kind of boring so the plan is these graphics will help spice up the video. I will be filming the technology and these elements will accompany the rest of the visuals. The script is still in production and I'm working closely with the client on it so right now is the best time to shape the overall video. The client doesn't have a good idea of what they want in the video so my goal is to present a storyboard that can get them onboarded and feeling good with the video. I have built out a mock storyboard to show the client and gotten approval on it in terms of what needs to be in the video but now am looking for a professional designer to help add the flair that it needs.
Some other specifics of the project: I would like the storyboards finalized in Adobe Illustrator for me to be able to work within Adobe After Effects.
