I’m looking for a skilled manga artist to bring my American football-inspired series, Gridiron: Zero, to life! This project blends intense sports action with high-stakes competition, inspired by Blue Lock but with a unique football twist.
Project Details:
• Genre: Sports/Shonen
• Style: Japanese manga style (dynamic, high-energy, expressive characters)
• Panels per Chapter: ~45-55 panels (12 chapters per volume)
• Format: Black & white with screentones (manga-style shading)
• Setting: Zero Football Academy (ZFA), a high-intensity training ground where players compete in 4v4 battles, playing both offense and defense
• Action Focus: Fast-paced sequences, fluid motion, and impactful plays similar to Haikyuu!! and Blue Lock
• Character Design: Diverse cast with unique personalities and playing styles
What I’m Looking For:
• Experience drawing manga-style sports/action scenes
• Ability to illustrate athletic motion and dynamic perspectives
• Strong character expressions and emotions
• Proficiency in screentones and shading for dramatic effect
• Comfortable working with storyboards and detailed panel layouts
• Open to long-term collaboration (potential multi-volume series)
Budget & Compensation:
• Per Page Rate: $50-$150(negotiable based on experience and detail level)
• Payment: Paid per completed page or chapter
• Long-term Potential: If we’re a good fit, I’d love to continue working together for future volumes
