I am seeking a talented artist to help transform my completed YA fantasy romance book into a graphic novel. The artistic style I am envisioning aligns with works such as Nimona, Bev Johnson’s pieces, or Raina Telgemeier’s illustrations. The ideal freelancer will have a keen understanding of creating expressive characters and detailed backgrounds, as these elements are pivotal to the visual narrative of the story.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full page composition: The artist will need to handle the layout and composition of each page, making sure the storytelling flows seamlessly.
- Character Design: While the core character design is complete, the artist will need to bring these characters to life on the page with expressive and dynamic illustrations.
- Background and Scenery: The artist will be responsible for creating detailed and immersive backgrounds that enhance the story.
