Format Ebook & Create Illustrations

I have a finished manuscript in a Word document and I’d like it converted into a Kindle-ready eBook. While you handle the formatting, I also need simple line-style illustrations created and inserted at the appropriate points in the text.

Scope
• Convert the Word file into a clean Kindle layout (EPUB or KDP-ready format).
• Design a handful of basic, black-and-white illustrations that match the tone of each referenced scene or concept.
• Place each illustration inside the manuscript where indicated and make sure sizing and resolution meet Amazon requirements.

Deliverables
1. Final Kindle-ready file.
2. Separate image files for each illustration (300 dpi, PNG or JPEG).
3. A brief note outlining where each illustration was inserted for easy reference.

I’m looking for a straightforward, no-frills solution: professional formatting, clear navigation, and illustrations that enhance the reading experience without heavy artistic complexity. If you’ve handled Kindle conversions and basic illustration work before, I’d love to see a quick sample or two.
