Flat Gulf-Style Avatar Pack
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m building a web-and-mobile game for a Gulf audience and I need a cohesive set of flat, minimal avatars to populate player profiles. The brief is very specific: twenty head-and-shoulder illustrations—ten male, ten female—depicting middle-aged adults in traditional Gulf attire. Some of the men should wear a shemagh, while the women are split between hijab and niqab, all rendered in the same clean visual language.
Keep the palette simple, rely on clear shapes rather than gradients, and avoid heavy outlines so the graphics sit naturally against any UI background. Every character must be supplied in two facial-expression variants—neutral and serious—to give the game UI a bit of flexibility.
Deliverables
• 20 distinct avatars (PNG, transparent background, at screen-ready resolution)
• Each avatar duplicated in neutral and serious expressions (40 PNGs total)
• Original layered source files (AI, SVG, or PSD) so I can resize or tweak colours later
Acceptance criteria
• Consistent flat style across all characters
• Correct gender split and attire distribution: 10 male (shemagh), 10 female (mix of hijab and niqab)
• No elements below the shoulders—shoulders, neck and head only
• Files named logically for quick integration (e.g., male01_neutral.png)
If your portfolio shows clean vector portrait work and you can turn this around efficiently, I’d love to see a quick sample or two before we lock in the full set.
