Community Event - Visual Artists Needed
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm organizing a community event celebrating 20 years of our restaurant, Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant in Lone Tree, and I'm on the lookout for talented visual artists. The scope of this project includes a variety of interactive and engaging visual art experiences.
Ideal artists should be capable of:
- Conducting live painting sessions
- Setting up captivating digital art exhibits
- Engaging with guests through face painting
- Running a DIY tent to teach guests different art techniques, e.g., rock painting or splash painting
- Displaying and discussing photography prints
I'm flexible with what we have as a vendor, but I would appreciate artists who are adaptable, engaging, and capable of working with a community audience. We are a Colorado staple, known for a healthier spin on Tex-Mex cuisine with a Legendary Classic Margarita that enjoys jam-band, funky, classic rock styled music in our venues. Our location is more family friendly so we would want to make sure art is age appropriate for all.
Skills and experience ideal for this job:
- Strong background in visual arts
- Experience in community engagement activities
- Capable of live demonstrations and interactive sessions
- Sales capability of artwork
When: Saturday, October 19th from 12pm-8pm
