Children's Book Illustrator Needed

We are seeking a talented illustrator to bring our children's book to life with lively and engaging animal illustrations. All the characters in the story are animals in clothing, and there will be a total of 19 spread pages with illustrations.

The style of the characters would be similar to the charm and detail of Beatrix Potter's illustrations. This means the characters should maintain their animalistic features but have clothing and accessories added.

The theme of the story will take place during the Elizabethan Era (from 1558 to 1603), a time when Shakespeare was popular, so the animal characters must have the correct fashion that represents that time period.

You will work closely with the author to translate the story into captivating visuals that enhance the narrative.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

— Previous experience illustrating storybook animal characters with clothing.

— The ability to maintain a consistent and engaging style throughout the 19 illustrations.

— Experience in creating playful and imaginative artwork that captures the attention of young readers.
