Children's Book Illustrator Needed
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I'm looking for an illustrator for a picture book aimed at early readers, specifically 4 to 7 years old. The book features animal characters and requires engaging illustrations that will capture the attention of young readers.
Ideal skills and experience include:
- Previous work illustrating children's 32 page picture books including the insertion of the words
- Ability to create appealing and relatable dragon knight characters and humans in a town including a clown as well as landscape
- Experience with illustrations for the 4-7 age group
- Strong understanding of pacing and visual storytelling to hold a child's interest
A whimsical style would be ideal, but I am open to different interpretations and styles. If you have a unique take or style, I'd love to see it. Please provide a portfolio with previous illustrative work, particularly any with children's books.
