We are looking for a talented and creative children's book illustrator to bring our heartwarming story, Lily - The Mirror of Possibilities, to life. This story is designed to inspire self-confidence and imagination in young readers, and we need engaging, vibrant, and expressive illustrations to match.
Project Scope:
Full book illustration (approximately 8-10 illustrated pages + cover)
Character-focused designs featuring Lily (character reference provided)
Scene-based storytelling with whimsical, warm, and emotionally expressive artwork
Each page will have a specific scene description to guide the artwork (provided)
Final files in high-resolution PNG with transparent backgrounds for flexible use
Art Style & Requirements:
Playful, elegant, and imaginative style suitable for young children
Soft, warm colors with expressive facial features to convey emotions
Detailed backgrounds to enhance storytelling without overwhelming the scene
Ability to match the existing character design of Lily (reference provided)
Experience illustrating diverse and inclusive children's books is a plus
Deliverables:
Fully colored, high-resolution illustrations for each page
Source files (preferably ID or AI) for future adjustments if needed
Layered artwork (if possible) for flexibility in layout adjustments
