Cartoonish Children's Book Illustrations
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm looking for a talented illustrator to create over 21 cartoonish illustrations ea for at least 10 books, for a children's books aimed at 4-12 year old's.
Key Requirements:
- 4-12 age group focus
- 21+ cartoonish illustrations ea in at least 10 books. Possibly more
- Experience in children's book illustration
- Creativity and imagination
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong portfolio in cartoonish styles
- Previous work on 4-12 age group books
- Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively

We have created and published our first book. Our illustrator is young and is going off to college and cannot continue the project. The project is a series of 10 to 15 books using the same character.
All of the first book's illustration are in a google slides presentation and ready to share with you. We will need to emulate the character and basic theme of the first book as close as possible. Its not a complex character really.
Since this will be an ongoing project that may span many months if not a year or two we are willing to entertain sharing revenue of the book sales to offset initial upfront costs. The book series caters to the SEL education program. Social and Emotional Learning is a program that is embraced and implemented all over the United States in thousands of schools. Our marketing plan is focused on promoting the series as an SEL teaching tool.
I am listing this under the " $250 - $750" price range but this is inaccurate. A series of books will const more but you and I will need to address a shared revenue agreement in conjunction with per illustration / book contract pricing.
