Book Cover Illustration
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Hey there,
I'm Jakub, hopefully your future employer. Let's start with the fact that I want personal contact with you since the very beginning. Automated offers or offers without any note are NOT welcome. Now with this info out, let's start talking the job, shall we?
I'm a journalist working on the travel book. I'm looking for someone experienced with book covers, capable of making the cover stand out a bit in the bookshops. Front+back side. If you had a better idea than I would be suggesting, don't be afraid to speak out and tell me about a better option based on your experience. Discussion is welcome. Forcing your way is not.
You will get a list of cca 40 objects (toucan, cup of coffee, ship crane, Mayan pyramid, mosquito, some specific church or a dog. In a few cases you will try to capture some scenes from photos as well) which need to be drawed (black on white) and one object + name of the book coloured on the front page.
What am I asking you now? Send me a message, provide me with some of your best work connected with illustrating.
Write me how much time will you approx. need (we're in no hurry whatsoever) and what is a requested fee for your services. If you wanted to do a basic drawing of a dog on the attached photo (will be the main object of the book, just a different shot), please, feel free to do so. It could be a deciding point when picking out of two freelancers as it gives me some sort of idea how do you draw objects based on a photo.
Final file should be a .png one. All the details we can discuss in direct messages.
Hope to have you as an illustrator of my next book cover.
