Bold Historical Design for Band Shirt

I need a bold and vibrant image designed for t-shirts, representing our marching band's show theme centered around a historical event. The design should capture the essence of the event and be visually striking to stand out on apparel. Ideal skills include experience in creating dynamic and thematic graphic designs, especially for apparel, with a flair for bold and vibrant styles.
Our marching band show is called "Burn the Boats". It is based off of the Legend of Hernán Cortés. The phrase famously originates from 1519, when Spanish conquistador Hernán Cortés landed on the shores of Mexico to conquer the Aztec Empire. Knowing that his men were outnumbered and fearful, Cortés ordered his fleet of ships to be burned or scuttled. This eliminated any possibility of retreat, leaving his soldiers with only two choices: conquer or die.
Color scheme for the show is reds, oranges. The band director did an image on Chatgpt when he announced the show which we do not want to use but it gives an idea of what he was thinking.
