Adam’s book
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Since I first started fostering my now adoptive son, I have been writing down funny and insightful things that he says. I want to put all the quotes into a book to sell to friends and family to as a way of add to his education/college fund.
Following with the style Adam draws in, I am going to put the quotes inside comic book type squares. The squares and font will be black and the background white. To liven up the book, I am looking to hire an illustrator to draw essentially draw a characterized version of my son in comic strip style.
This character acts almost like a narrator throughout the book and moves from page to page doing different types of action: biking, running, jumping, skipping, swinging, swimming, scootering, spinning. I also have a school photo I’m hoping could be turned into a drawing that I’d like to feature on the cover.
