Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I need a minimum of 14 illustrations for two detective novels. Four covers, and the rest being inside illustrations. Each front cover will depict a scene from the book that features the main character for that book. The back cover will also feature the main character along with either a specific car or a plane, and may also include the secondary character in the background. The main character in one book is the secondary character in the other. Inside illustrations will consist of maps (some that hint at topography) and diagrams.
This is not a rush project, but I do want to self-publish in January 2023, so I'd like to have the work done by early December so that I have time to do all the formatting in KDP Services. I will probably have to fund the work over two or three months depending on the cost of service. As for the cover artwork, I very much like the style of the old Hardy Boys books. The front cover of one book will feature a female detective climbing down a cliff at night. The front cover of the second book will feature a male detective descending from an overhead helicopter into a river canyon. I can only describe these covers in words. However, I can supply good rough drafts of every inside illustration, so they mainly just need artistic fine tuning. I also need a title logo, the same for each book, but with normal font wording beneath each one (Part 1.. and Part 2..). It may be possible to simply find a font that I like.
