My production environment runs on Windows Server and hosts a .NET Framework application. I need an experienced hand to keep this server healthy day-to-day and jump in fast whenever something misbehaves.
The immediate focus is twofold: ongoing maintenance & monitoring plus rapid troubleshooting and bug fixes. Expect to review current settings, set up or refine health checks and alerts, patch the OS and IIS safely, and investigate any performance dips, 500-level errors, or service crashes that crop up. Familiarity with tools such as Event Viewer, Performance Monitor, PowerShell, and common monitoring dashboards will make the job smoother. Solid understanding of how the .NET Framework behaves under load inside IIS is essential.
Acceptance will be based on:
• A documented, automated monitoring setup with clear alert thresholds
• Event logs free of recurring errors after your fixes
• A concise report detailing every change applied and the outcome
