Deploy a .net project to IIS & Set up Web Deploy
Budget: $10 – $100 AUD
This is a two-part task.
1. I have a dev working on a project for me.
Both of us can run it just fine in Visual Studio, however when I 'publish' it, copy to server and then run it, errors are thrown.
This task is to work out what's going wrong and get the project running on the server.
You will also need to ensure that when I update the project with new versions, IIS doesn't break - in other words, give me a procedure for posting updates.
2. Web Deploy
I've looked at the reference guide to setting up 'web deploy' from MIcrosoft before, and it makes no sense.
A 'one-click' solution for publishing updates to the application would be great (using web-deploy).
In your bid, indicate which task(s) you intend to complete.
Please indicate your price for each task (quoted separately).
Prove you've read these requirements by putting today's date in the first line of your bid.
You can RDC into the server directly.
Tasks are expected to be completed in the next 12-24 hours ideally.
