RIPL Icons

We are redesining the user interface for our software application which targets pipeline operators. The product name is RIPL. We'll be splitting the RIPL application into several different applications. We'd like to start with our RIPL valve placement application. Each application would have a desktop application that is derivation of the core product icon (attached). Also attached is a mockup of the user proposed user interface for the valve placement application.
