iOS App Project - (Swift/SwiftUI) with Firebase / Firestore & Google Maps
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I'm presently looking for an individual with strong Swift experience in XCode and a good sense of design using the latest in SwiftUI development. We have a fairly complex app that our in-house team will be working on with a strong developer that knows the nuances of SwiftUI.
You MUST have experience with NoSQL "de-normalization" of data while working to keep the number of Reads and Writes to Firebase / Firestore at a minimum, and have a good sense of architecture as we collectively decide which functions of the app will require duplication of data stored for optimal search and functional results. If you have a MySQL mentality, you will not be a good fit for the project
In addition, integration with the Google Maps API is a major factor, and there will be a great deal of customization that is required for that aspect of the App.
This is NOT a fixed bid project, and as such we need a developer that understands the importance of using GitHub frequently and effectively so that the project is properly versioned throughout the work day (MANY TIMES PER HOUR) in order to facilitate code reviews and cooperative development. If you are not familiar with working in this manner, please do not respond or bid.
Please do not post a massive wordpress portfolio, this is an iOS Development project that requires at least one, and maybe others (TBD). If you have not kept current since WWDC 2021, please do no bid on this project. Our app will have multiple facets and will be evolving frequently. At some point, we plan to also build an Android version, but that has yet to be finalized.
