HyperMesh Hexmesh Composite Blade
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I need a clean, fully structured hexahedral mesh of a composite engine blade that carries a metal leading-edge cap. The model must follow an N-block / E-block strategy and explicitly include the ET and EN sub-blocks, as these zones are critical for the subsequent stress evaluation around the cap-to-composite interface.
Please work in HyperMesh only, shaping the topology so it captures fillets, thickness transitions, and the fine curvature near the tip without breaking block continuity. The final mesh will feed a detailed stress analysis, so element quality, orthogonality, and smooth grading take priority over cell count.
Deliverables
• HyperMesh .cdb file with the completed hex mesh, fully organized into N, E, ET, and EN components
• A brief HTML or PDF report (1–2 pages) summarising element counts, minimum quality metrics, and any local refinements applied
Acceptance criteria
• All regions meshed with true hex elements—no tets or pyramids
• Minimum element quality ≥0.3 (HyperMesh quality index) and warpage <5° across the blade
• Clear block naming and colour coding so the solver team can pick up the file without edits
