Stamped HVAC Airflow Rebalance Plans
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
The rooftop HVAC units on this project were replaced with smaller models, yet the drawings still show the original airflow figures. Because the engineer of record has retired, I now need a licensed professional to step in, recalculate the supply and return volumes to achieve a lower total airflow, revise the mechanical sheets accordingly, and apply an engineer’s stamp so the set is ready for inspection.
I will provide the complete original plans in both PDF and AutoCAD formats, along with the new equipment submittals. Your task is to verify the loads, adjust the ductwork and diffuser schedules where necessary, update any related notes or schedules, and return a sealed package that satisfies current code requirements for the jurisdiction.
Key deliverables:
• Updated mechanical drawings reflecting reduced airflow
• Supporting calculations (load, duct sizing, balancing data)
• Professional Engineer stamp on the final plan set (PDF + DWG)
Tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, TRACE 700—or equivalent HVAC design software—are expected to be used so that the final documents integrate smoothly with the existing files.
Once your stamped plans clear the city review, the job is complete. Let me know your estimated turnaround time and any documentation you require up front, and I’ll send everything over.
