Small Retail Store HVAC Design

Job ID: 40215138

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need a complete HVAC design for a retail space under 1,000 sq ft. Comfort is the priority, but indoor air quality and day-to-day energy savings must be accounted for from the first load calculation to final equipment selection.

Scope
• Heat-gain / heat-loss calculations sized to the exact floor area and retail usage profile.
• Equipment schedule that balances temperature control, MERV-rated filtration and high SEER/EER performance.
• Ductwork or mini-split layout (whichever proves most efficient) with diffuser locations that avoid dead-zones around shelving and displays.
• Simple control strategy—programmable thermostat, demand-controlled ventilation or other cost-effective option you recommend.
• Drawings and schedules delivered in PDF; native AutoCAD, Revit, or similar files welcome if you already work in those tools.

Acceptance Criteria
1. Design maintains 72 °F ±2 °F throughout sales floor with <2 °F stratification at peak load.
2. Meets ASHRAE 62.1 ventilation rates and demonstrates compliance with the local energy code.
3. All equipment and duct sizes clearly labeled and referenced so my installer can quote without extra field redesign.

A concise report or design narrative explaining your calculations and assumptions will round out the package. Let me know your usual turnaround time and which software you prefer for load analysis (Manual J, HAP, TRACE 700, etc.).
