Reverse Cycle Air conditioning Duct work Design
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I need a full set of duct-work drawings and airflow calculations for a two-storey residential property that will run on a single 20 kW reverse-cycle system. The house follows a traditional-room layout—individual bedrooms, a formal lounge, separate dining, kitchen, and study—so the design must deal with a series of enclosed spaces rather than an open plan.
Scope of work
• Size every supply and return run, including branches, transitions, and plenums, with corresponding CFM values clearly shown for each room.
• Provide a balanced layout that prioritises energy efficiency, even temperature distribution, and low noise.
• Indicate grille/register locations, diffuser types, and any acoustic treatments needed to keep the system quiet.
• Include static-pressure checks, velocity limits, and notes on insulation or duct board where useful.
• Deliver final drawings as both PDF for quick reference and DWG (or compatible) so my builder can drop them straight into our architectural set.
I will supply floor plans, elevations, and any load-calculation data you require as soon as we agree the engagement.
