HVAC Design for a Residential Villa (Concealed Ducted AC System)
Project Description:
I am looking for an experienced HVAC design engineer to prepare a complete concealed ducted air conditioning (concealed AC) design for my residential villa.
The engineer will review the architectural AutoCAD drawings and provide a complete HVAC design package that can be used by the contractor before construction.
Scope of Work
* Review and study the architectural floor plans.
* Determine the optimal locations and capacities of all concealed AC indoor units.
* Select the best locations for all outdoor condensing units while considering:
* Accessibility for maintenance
* Noise reduction
* Aesthetics
* Cooling efficiency
* Design all ductwork layouts and air distribution.
* Determine supply and return air grille locations and sizes.
* Design refrigerant copper pipe routing.
* Design condensate drain routing.
* Specify insulation requirements.
* Coordinate the routing to avoid conflicts with structural beams and other services.
* Provide all required openings and builder’s work details for the contractor before slab casting and ceiling construction.
Deliverables
The final deliverables must include:
* AutoCAD (.DWG) files.
* PDF drawings.
* HVAC layout for each floor.
* Indoor unit locations.
* Outdoor unit locations.
* Copper pipe routing.
* Condensate drain routing.
* Duct routing.
* Supply and return grille layout.
* Installation details required before construction.
* Equipment schedule including recommended cooling capacity for each unit.
* Bill of quantities (optional but preferred).
Requirements
* Experience designing residential villas.
* Experience with concealed ducted split AC systems.
* Ability to provide construction-ready drawings.
* Good knowledge of Saudi building practices is preferred.
The villa consists of Ground Floor, First Floor, and Roof Annex, and all architectural drawings in AutoCAD and PDF will be provided to the selected freelancer.
