Residential HVAC Manual J/D/S
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m looking for a quick-turn HVAC load and system design package for four identical apartments: Units 2A and 2B on both the second and third floors. Think of them as the yellow (left) and green (center) footprints on the plans you already have.
Unit facts you’ll work from
• 1,750 sq ft each
• 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, open living/kitchen
• Enhanced insulation throughout the envelope
• Single-pane windows
• North–South orientation
Scope
I need complete Manual J, Manual D, and Manual S calculations—no AutoCAD drawing, just the calcs and supporting schedules. I’ll be reviewing sensible/latent loads by room, duct layouts and sizes, ESP assumptions, and equipment selection data. A concise report (PDF or XLS) per unit plus a summary page that rolls up all four units is perfect.
Timing
Everything has to land in my inbox within three days of awarding the job, so please be confident in meeting that deadline before you accept.
Deliverables (acceptance criteria)
1. Manual J room-by-room load sheets and block summary.
2. Manual D duct design showing cfm, velocity, and static calculations.
3. Manual S equipment sizing with model numbers that meet calculated loads.
4. One combined summary page comparing the four units.
If any assumptions beyond the data above are needed—internal gains, ventilation rates, etc.—call them out clearly in the report so I can sign off quickly.
