Office HVAC Ducting Plan & Report

Job ID: 39713893

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have the full vent layout for an office building ready to go and now need a mechanical engineer who can turn that into a complete, code-compliant ducting design and the accompanying NRCC-MCH-E Mechanical report. The drawings must integrate seamlessly with the existing architectural set and satisfy all current mechanical and energy regulations for commercial offices. I will supply the base CAD files and vent schematic as soon as we kick off.

I’m looking for someone who lives and breathes HVAC design, is comfortable selecting appropriately sized equipment and fittings, and knows the mechanical code well enough to spot issues before they become RFIs. If you have experience with energy-efficiency calculations and have produced NRCC documentation before, that will be a huge plus.

Deliverables
• Detailed duct layout drawings (CAD + PDF) ready for permit submittal
• Completed NRCC-MCH-E Mechanical report, signed and sealed if required
• Brief design note outlining assumptions, static pressure calculations and equipment schedules

Please include examples of similar office or commercial projects you’ve handled, especially any where you provided both the duct design and official energy/code reports. A short note on your typical workflow and turnaround time is appreciated as well.
