Modular OT HVAC Design

I’m ready to commission the complete HVAC design package for a new modular operation theater and want someone who can take it from concept to signed-off drawings.

Scope of work
The theater will run on a laminar airflow system with HEPA filtration, so every detail of the ventilation system, temperature control, and humidity control must be engineered to maintain sterile Class 100 (ISO 5) conditions. I’ll need sizing calculations, air change schedules, pressure‐cascade layouts, and clear routing for supply, return, and exhaust ducts. Temperature and RH set-points have to stay within the typical surgical envelope (around 18-24 °C and 45-55 % RH) under full, partial, and standby loads. Wherever possible, please reference current ASHRAE 170 / NABH guidelines.

Deliverables
• HVAC design brief with load calculations
• CFD or equivalent airflow analysis confirming unidirectional laminar flow over the operating zone
• Detailed ducting and diffuser drawings (DWG/Revit) ready for fabrication
• Control philosophy and points list for BMS integration
• HEPA filter specification with pressure-drop allowances and change-out schedule
• Final compliance report showing the theater meets ISO 14644 and local health regulations

Acceptance criteria
The design will be considered complete once the airflow pattern simulation demonstrates <0.4 m/s downward velocity across the OT table, pressure differentials are at least +15 Pa to adjacent spaces, and all documentation is stamped by a licensed HVAC engineer.
