Manual J & S Calc Report
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a three-story mixed-use building that now needs proper Manual J and Manual S calculations so the MEP drawings can move forward. The ground floor is a general office suite; the second and third floors are identical residential units and the top floor also includes an attic space. Each floor falls in the 1,000–2,000 sq ft range. The two residential levels will house about 3–4 occupants per unit and will be conditioned with heat-pump systems.
What I need from you: a complete Manual J load calculation and the corresponding Manual S equipment sizing summary, clearly broken out by floor/zone. Please flag any assumptions you must make—solar orientation, insulation values, window specs, infiltration rates—so they can be cross-checked with the architect.
