Garage Conversion HVAC Plan

I’m converting my existing garage into conditioned space and need a complete HVAC and mechanical plan centered on a ductless mini-split system. I already know the mini-split is the right fit; what I’m missing is a professional set of documents that satisfies local permitting and guides my contractor from rough-in through final inspection.

Here’s what I expect to receive:
• Manual J/S (or equivalent) load calculations confirming capacity requirements
• Mechanical drawings that show equipment location, line-set routing, condensate handling, and any required fresh-air or exhaust strategies
• A concise specification sheet listing the selected indoor and outdoor units as well as compatible controls
• Notes or schedules for electrical tie-ins so the electrician can coordinate breaker size and wire gauge
• Any code references that must appear on the plan set for approval

Please base your work on standard U.S. residential codes; if you need additional site details (square footage, insulation levels, window schedule), let me know early so we can keep the timeline tight. A PDF plan set is fine for review, but I’d like the source CAD file too so my architect can layer it into the full drawing package.
