Responsibilities
Respond promptly to daily maintenance requests and emergencies.
Repair issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, and other mechanical systems.
Maintain guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities in line with five-star standards.
Conduct regular inspections and schedule preventive maintenance on critical systems (e.g., HVAC, elevators, fire safety, pool, kitchen equipment).
Clean, lubricate, and adjust equipment to reduce risk of failure.
Maintain detailed records using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Support renovation and upgrade projects, including demolition, installation, and finishing work.
Carry out light painting, carpentry, and janitorial tasks.
Keep all maintenance areas clean, safe, and organized.
Follow all safety procedures and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA).
Use proper protective equipment and report any unsafe conditions immediately.
Ensure guests and staff remain safe and comfortable during maintenance activities.
Provide courteous support to guests with maintenance concerns.
Represent the hotel with professionalism and a guest-first attitude.
Requirements
Proven maintenance experience, preferably in a luxury or large-scale hotel.
Skilled in at least three trades such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or mechanical systems.
Can read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and blueprints.
Familiar with CMMS or other maintenance tracking systems.
Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physically capable of performing manual labor (lifting, climbing, etc.).
A minimum of a high school diploma; technical or vocational training is a plus.
Flexible to work full-time shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call emergencies.
