Duplex HVAC Permit Layout

I need a complete HVAC layout for a two-unit duplex that will satisfy my local building department’s permit requirements. The plan must be built around a central air system for cooling; I’m open to your professional guidance on the exact equipment model and on the heating approach as long as the solution remains code-compliant and energy-efficient.

The drawings have to include accurate Manual J load calculations, duct sizing, register and return placements, equipment location details, and all notes or legends the reviewers will expect. If your state license or engineering stamp is required for approval, please let me know up front—otherwise an un-stamped set that passes plan check is fine.

Deliverables:
• PDF and editable CAD files of the full HVAC plan
