Commercial HVAC Load Calculation

I need a detailed set of heating- and cooling-load calculations for a new commercial building. You will be working from a complete, well-organised blueprint package in DWG/PDF, so room data extraction should be straightforward.

The goal is an engineer-ready report that lets me size equipment, justify ventilation rates, and move on to downstream duct design without re-work. Please use an industry-recognised tool such as HAP, TRACE 700, Carrier’s E20, or an equivalent spreadsheet model and reference the latest ASHRAE fundamentals in your methodology. AutoCAD familiarity is important because you may need to pull areas and exposures directly from the drawings.

Deliverables (acceptance criteria)
• Room-by-room and block cooling/heating loads with sensible/latent split
• Ventilation rate summary in cfm/L · s (ASHRAE 62.1)
• Psychrometric conditions and design assumptions (outdoor DB/WB, indoor set-points)
• Equipment sizing tables ready for schedule insertion
• Native calculation file plus a clear PDF report
