Commercial HVAC Load Calculation
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a full Manual J, D, and S analysis for several designated floors within a commercial building that already runs on a central HVAC system. Your report should pin down the heating and cooling loads for those floors only, translate the numbers into a duct layout that meets ACCA Manual D guidelines, and finish with Manual S equipment sizing so I can verify that the air-handling units we plan to specify will match the calculated demand.
Please base your work on accepted ACCA methodologies and deliver files that can be shared with my mechanical contractor—PDF for the narrative and spreadsheets or Wrightsoft/Elite outputs for the raw data are ideal. I’ll supply floor plans, occupancy schedules, lighting loads, and envelope specs as soon as we start. Accuracy is key; I’ll spot-check the peak load against my own rough calculations before signing off.
Deliverables
• Manual J load report for the selected floors
• Manual D duct sizing and layout summary
• Manual S equipment selection with model recommendations and performance data
If you have experience with commercial applications of Cool Calc, Wrightsoft, or Elite RHVAC, let me know—that will speed up the hand-off to engineering.
