We are seeking an experienced HR Operations consultant to support our client during a leadership transition. This interim role (5–6 months) will provide stability for our People Operations function, which supports employees in India, the UK, and the US, while driving targeted improvements in service delivery, employee experience, and process effectiveness.

Key responsibilities
• Stabilise People Operations during the leadership transition.
• Diagnose current processes and identify improvement opportunities vs. best practice.
• Advise and implement case management / HR helpdesk (query tiering, SLAs, escalation handling).
• Provide guidance on employee lifecycle management (onboarding, offboarding, in-life changes) with a strong focus on employee experience.
• Partner with the People leadership team to benchmark client against industry standards.
• Ensure continuity in audits, payroll input management, background verification, and benefits administration.
• Oversee and advise on HRIS data integrity, reporting, and compliance.
• Provide interim leadership and mentoring for the HR Ops team based in India, which supports India, UK, and US employees.
• Work closely with the UK People team (including the CHRO, People Partners, and People Ops personnel), India People team, India department leads, and other key stakeholders across the business (e.g., Compliance, Internal Audit).

What we’re looking for
• 10+ years’ experience in HR Operations, including consulting or transformation mandates.
• Strong diagnostic and process re-engineering expertise.
• Exposure to regulated environments preferred.
• Experience working across India, UK, and US.
• Proven experience in entrepreneurial or growth-stage businesses, helping to professionalise and systematise operations.
• Ability to balance a strong employee service orientation with process optimisation and efficiency.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and deliver credible recommendations quickly.
• Hands-on familiarity with HRIS, benefits administration, and compliance processes.
